Amazon is out with another set of gift card deals today, with discounts or promo credits available when buying gift cards for brands including Best Western, Lyft, Uber and more.

Quick Thoughts
There are some good deals here, such as saving 20% on $100 worth of Best Western gift cards. For some reason Best Western doesn’t seem to show up at the above link, at least not on desktop anyway. However, if you do a search for Best Western gift cards and add $100 to your cart, you should see the $20 instant discount.
Note that some of the deals on the offer page give a straight discount, while others give Amazon promo credit. The promo credit deals are a little more annoying because the promo credit expires after a few weeks or months, plus it can only be used to buy products that are both sold by and shipped by Amazon. If you’re planning on buying products sold by or shipped by a marketplace seller (which is a large proportion of items on Amazon), you’ll be out of luck with redeeming the credit.
Remember that Amazon is one of the 5% categories on Discover It cards this quarter. Also be aware that some of these brands are available for larger discounts elsewhere. For example, Costco now sells Uber gift cards for 20% off every day of the week both online and in-store, so saving 10% on those isn’t quite the deal that it once was.

Uber does seem to be a concern, but the concern with Lyft (so far) only relates to those using CSR with their Lyft account.
Was able to stack the $15 discount on Lyft GC with $20 discount for using at least one Capital One mile. $100 for $65 – not bad! Thanks for the post!

Gift cards for Uber at Costco do not work for overseas rides, only for USA rides.
Do any US Uber gift cards work overseas (outside of Panama maybe)?

They only work in USA. They will be in your account but won’t get used if you are overseas.
No, after using the codes to fill the Wallet, it then tells you it can only be used in places that accept USD currency.
It’s just easier to buy gift cards from Costco. If your baseline savings is 10% at Amazon, then the additional savings on selected gift cards at Costco easily pays for the membership fee
