American Express is back with another increased referral offer on consumer Gold cards, this time adding 30,000 points to the existing public offer for a total of 90K Membership Rewards after $6,000 spend within the first three months. This higher offer is only available via referral and only some targeted cardholders can generate a direct referral link to them.

Quick Thoughts
The increased offers on the Gold, Platinum and Business Platinum that have exclusively been available via referral from chosen customers have been some of the hottest on the market given the incredible value you can get out of these offers thanks to the many Amex Membership Rewards sweet spots.
As mentioned above, only some cardholders have the ability to generate a referral link directly to this Gold offer (and it’s currently only available via refer-a-friend).
