Quick Thoughts
This is an awesome deal if you can grab it. Newegg obviously sells plenty of merchandise that may be of interest, and stacking an additional 30% back could make for fantastic deals on stuff you want to buy.
I’m adding this deal to our running list of Prime Day deals as this could easily stack with any deals Newgg may be running today. We have also added this to our current Amex Offers database.
Additionally, Newegg sells a wide range of gift cards, some of them even at discounted prices.

They also sell plenty of travel-related gift cards that may be of interest.
It probably wouldn’t be hard for most readers to find some sort of gift card that would be of interest even if you don’t have an immediate need for the stuff Newegg sells.

If it is bought on Newegg and shipped and sold by another party does that still qualify?
any datapoints on this working for VGC’s and are the eVGC’s active upon receipt?
Thank you for pointing out the “awesomeness” of this offer. I had added the offer to my Amex but I didn’t realize the significance until I read your post. I just scored $100 off the Bose headphones I’ve had my eye on. Thanks again!

I added this to mine and P2’s biz platinum cards yesterday. I double checked this morning and the offers had been added. I ordered from newegg on my card (but not P2) and the charge was placed this afternoon. However now when I check, the offer has been removed from both mine and P2’s card. Is this something Amex does?
Same. I don’t recall seeing this before, but could be.
Damn not on any of my biz cards. What cards specifically did ppl see this on?
Will any portals work with gift cards?
