I got this offer in the mail: 100,000 point after spending $3000 in the first 3 statements. Offer Expires Jan 17, 2017.
My question: That offer was for me, Can my wife apply for it (with my RSVP Code), as I wait for my 5/24 spot for Chase card to clear up in February?

How does the annual fee work? Will I have to pay $450 right now and then again in January or it’s calculated one year from sign-up? Thanks!

I applied last night and was instantly approved. Will call AMEX tomorrow to verify the offer. 🙂

I was trying to be helpful, but it looks like the DoC deleted my comment, so I’ll try here…for those more IT savvy, this link is not meant for the public…it’s a link to their internal QA environment, so this isn’t an application that lives in production…
It should be true as I worked there 🙂 The applications do still work however and you can actually be approved/declined/etc. if you put in real data…I’m curious if they’ll let these slide through or claw back the points.

Nope and I am in the same boat as you. Terms are clear and it has nothing to do with the bonus and everything to do with whether you have had the card before. From current offer: “Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had this product.” That is why the clawback really hurt….

Ouch hope this doesn’t turn out to be true. Will Amex tell us in advance or is it going to be trial and error?

How do I contact you? Actually I tried to send email to Greg about some great deals, but it seems he is on vacation these days…
You can email me at shawn@Greg The Frequent Miler.net
just got approved
My points were clawed back. So I never really did get the bonus. Can I try applying again for the 100k minus?
