Autumn fares to Europe fall: East and West Coast to Scandinavia from $360’s RT (or less)

It looks like the European airfare sale is back on. We’re seeing even lower fares on a number of routes to Scandinavia from both coasts on legacy carriersOneworldSkyteam, and Star Alliance all have sub-$400 fares from both coasts (and even cheaper fares can be found on low-cost carriers Norwegian and WOW). This is not an exhaustive list — more cities may be possible. Lower fares may be possible — use Google Flights to play with dates. The bulk of availability is between September and November. For a great tutorial on using Google flights, see our post about how to find great business class fares with Google flights — the same techniques apply to economy class tickets.

New York to Copenhagen on Finnair: $363 October 15-24

NYC-CPH Finnair
Also available on Norwegian for $337, though when accounting for fees, the Finnair itinerary likely comes out cheaper.

If you prefer Star Alliance, play with the dates — the Star Alliance itinerary comes down to about the same price on some dates — here’s November 15-22nd:

New York to CPH Star

If you don’t mind flying Norwegian, you could fly for $288 round trip New York to Oslo:

NYC-CPH on Norwegian

Boston to Copenhagen, October 3-10:

Orlando to Copenhagen: October 1-8

San Jose to Stockholm: October 5-12

The itineraries with Alaska don’t give you a bookable link — try the Delta/KLM itineraries

Los Angeles to Copenhagen, November 1-8

[…] Autumn fares to Europe fall: East and West Coast to Scandinavia from $360’s RT (or less) and From ~$309 RT Aug/Sept/Oct on Star Alliance, Oneworld, & Icelandair: East Coast to Scandinavia: Some of the east coast fares have dropped — I saw Icelandair available from Boston to Copenhagen at $325 RT. I believe you could add a stopover to that for free. […]

It’s always nice to see in the title if the fare is o/w or r/t.
