Quick Thoughts
The Hotels.com gift card part of this deal isn’t very exciting seeing as you can frequently buy their gift cards at a 15%+ discount (e.g. through Gyft right now).
Getting a free $10 Best Buy eGift card with a $100 Delta gift card is a better deal though as Delta gift cards don’t go on sale as frequently. If you are in the market for discounted Delta gift cards though, there are other ways to get better discounts. For example, you can buy a $100 card at Staples and get $25 back or 2,500 Membership Rewards with the recent Staples Amex Offer.
Alternatively, wait until Kroger releases another 4x fuel points digital coupon. If you have a large gas tank, you can save up to 14%, while paying for the gift card with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores increases the rewards.
One slight bonus with this Best Buy offer is that you’ll earn Best Buy Rewards. Buying these will therefore also help if you’re shooting for Best Buy elite status.
The terms of the offer aren’t clear in terms of how many $10 cards you can get. Adding three Delta gift cards to your cart only adds one $10 Best Buy eGift card, but it might be possible to buy more in separate transactions. I don’t have any need for Delta gift cards though, so I won’t be testing this out.
