Update 11/1/23: These Rent Day promotions are live for today only.
~
Bilt Rewards has announced its Rent Day promos for November 1, 2023. The headliner of the monthly promotion is that Bilt Rewards members will be able to utilize a 75%-150% bonus on points transfers to Emirates Skywards. The actual transfer bonus will depend on Bilt status, with Blue members starting out at 75% and Platinum members topping out at a 150% transfer bonus.
If you plan to take advantage of this bonus and don’t yet have an Emirates Skywards account, open one and link it to Bilt ASAP. We’ve seen data points over the last couple of years that Emirates will lock accounts that receive points transfers soon after creation.
In addition to the transfer bonus, Bilt cardholders will once again have the opportunity to earn 2x points on purchases on Rent Day (up to 10,000 bonus points), will be able to get a SoulCycle class for free and have opportunities to register for a chance to get their rent paid. Points Quest Trivia will also be back again.

Quick Thoughts
This year, Bilt has had a series of terrific Rent Day promos including a 100% transfer bonus to Hawaiian Airlines, a 100% transfer bonus to Flying Blue and a Hyatt Globalist fast track.
This Emirates promo is essentially the same structure as August’s transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic. Although the percentages are impressive, Emirates heavily devalued their award chart over the holidays last year and drastically increased their surcharges on flights going to and from Dubai. Because of this, many of those flights will have limited appeal to some folks. The two major exceptions would be the airline’s fifth freedom routes from Newark-Athens and JFK-Milan, which escape the surcharges levied on Dubai flights and can still be booked for as low as 87k miles one-way or 108k round trip plus ~$100-150 in surcharges each way.
Bilt is also promoting curated “dining experiences” that give access to seats at various restaurants in Boston, New York, Dallas and Miami. The redemption rate is only 1.2 cents each, however, so it doesn’t offer particularly good value. We’ve no idea if reservations at these “hard to get into” restaurants are really that difficult. If some of them are, I suppose it could be a somewhat appealing way to score one.
The rest of the promotions are the usual Rent Day fare. For cardholders, the 2x Rent Day spending offer makes the 1st of the month the ideal time to hit your 5 transaction minimum in order to earn points on rent and/or all of your card purchases, so don’t forget to bust it out on November 1st if you’re a cardholder.
The fuel surchargers ruin it for me. You can transfer 70,000 Bilt to AA and fly Qsuites FREE or 70,000 to Emirates and fly their first class (most of them OLD) for $900 No thanks!!! Smaller seat, better wine. EK has worse food than QR
I just searched the round-trip between EWR to ATH on 05/01/24 to 05/15/24 cost 174K miles plus $251 instead of 108K as you said in the post. Am I missing something? Thanks!
The 108RT is saver pricing. You’re getting higher pricing because the dates you want aren’t available as saver awards.
@Greg @Nick Reyes @Tim Have yall seen that Emirates quotes extreme, potentially illegal surcharges on mileage tickets from countries that ban or restrict them? For instance AU, NZ, Phil, etc. As in $500 surcharge on one way SYD-DXB, mileage tickets only, not on cash fares.
send in our troops from Qatar. It’s good to be king! (Or a guy who’s an arab with a middle and last name of Al Baker as if it’s his first and last name)
