Target is offering a free $15 Target eGift card with the purchase of at least $100 in qualifying gift cards in-store or online with a Target Circle coupon. The best of the options is Happy Birthday cards, which can be used at Lowe’s (amongst other included merchants).

  • Target is offering a Target Circle coupon to get a free $15 Target eGift card when you spend $100 on qualifying gift cards. The best of the bunch is a Happy Birthday card, which can be used at Lowe’s, Subway, Cheesecake Factory, Ulta Beauty, AMC, or Outback Steakhouse. Be sure to sync up the Target Circle coupon.
  • Happy Birthday card
  • Game and Grub card (includes Xbox)
  • Happy B-Day Original Content Card (also includes Xbox)
  • Also valid on OC Food & laughs card, but this one probably doesn’t make much sense unless being given as a gift since you could probably get individual gift cards to the included restaurants at an equal or better discount

Quick Thoughts

This could make for a good stack with a Target RedCard if you have one. Otherwise, it could make sense for the card that work at Lowe’s or perhaps for one of the cards that works on Xbox if you’ve amassed some Microsoft Store credit but need more. Don’t forget to sync the coupon.

Also note that Target sometimes cancels online gift card purchases. If you’re passing near a store, it may be worth doing this deal in-store if possible to eliminate that risk.

They shut me down after last week, buying $50 choice gift cards and get a $5 target card for each one plus 4.5% off with the target red card. Bought 47. Still have the gift cards and target cards but won’t let me buy any more.

My app only had an offer for earning a $15 target circle award for spending $70. No mention of gift cards.
