For several weeks, we’ve been sharing a terrific referral offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards card on our Best Offers page that provides 75K miles and a $250 travel credit after $4K in spend.
However, there’s another, even better offer for an eye-popping 100K Capital One Miles after only $5K in spend. This matches the best offer on the Venture Rewards card that I’ve ever seen and is an incredible haul on a $95 card.
The only catch? It doesn’t appear on every Venture referral link and even those that do show it don’t all the time.
Key Card Details

FM Mini Review: This card earns 2 "miles" per dollar, which are worth exactly 1 cent each toward travel. This makes the return on spend similar to a 2% cash back card (though in this case you must redeem your miles to offset travel in order to get 1 cent per mile). One big advantage over cash back: Capital One allows transfering their "miles" to airline miles & hotel points. This card has no foreign currency conversion fees. Noteworthy perks: Receive up to $120 application fee credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck® ✦ Redeem miles for travel at value of 1 cent per mile ✦ Convert "miles" to airline miles & hotel points ✦ No foreign transaction fees |

Quick Thoughts
We’ve first saw this offer shared in our Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group and were even set-up a referral thread for folks to share their links so that we could put it on the Best Offers page (one actually was there for a brief time this morning).
However, once we started playing around with it, we realized that the 100K link we had didn’t display 100K every time we clicked on it. In some browsers, it would show a 75K offer (which is inferior to the referral links we’re sharing now) and in other browsers it would display 100K. Sometimes, we even saw different offers in the same browser by clicking on the link repeatedly.
Amex has been doing this sort of thing for quite a while now, and many folks have found that they can access a variety of micro-targeted offers depending on browser, geographical location, incognito mode, etc. Now, it looks like Capital One is getting into the same game.
Unfortunately, because we can’t count on any of these links to actually display the 100K offer we’d like to share, we can’t put it on the Best Offers page. However, it’s worth trying to open the referral link that we do have in multiple browsers (and incognito modes) to see if you can get the 100K genie out of the bottle (or go to the referral thread and try some of the links listed there).

I received this same offer in an email from CapOne today. Do you know if an emailed link has the same issues?
I have my 100k link can i post it?
Instructions for sharing are in the post. Our spam filters won’t allow links to be shared within the comments.
thank you!
Is it Through the facebook group page?
Tim – do you have any thoughts on how to get around going through the pre-approval process only to be offered the no AF Venture Rewards card?
“Click here to TRY to find the 100K offer (caution, you may see an inferior 75K offer)”
This link is no longer valid Might as well edit it out or do a strike-thru.
I’ve updated that link – thanks for the heads up
Looks like the link is no longer valid again 🙁
Can someone post a direct link to the Venture 100K page?
I’m only getting offered the VentureOne card.
There isn’t one as far as we’ve seen.
All the 100K referral links go to the pre-approval tool.
I was thinking that folks who got to the 100k application page after getting the pre-approval could post the link.
I am only getting the VentureOne offer
Same here
Is there any way around this? I keep getting ventureone during the pre-approval, and when i select other cards, I am only seeing the 75k offer.
Same here…
[…] 【2025.3 更新】一部分人被target到了可以refer出100k offer,这个offer比public的75k+$250稍微好一点点。HT: FM. […]
Any idea how long it will last?
everytime I go through pre-approval process, it keeps recommended me the venture rewards, then when i go to click the venture, only the75k offer is showing.
Same anyone know why?
I keep getting the VentureOne
[…] We wrote about the offer on the Capital One Venture card (with a $95 annual fee) for 75,000 points + $250 travel credits with $4,000 spend requirement. It’s now come to light that some referral links are showing 100,000 points with a $5,000 spend requirement. (hat tip to FM) […]
Can you get the SUB if you’ve gotten it before?
Can the referral link be posted here?
No, our spam filter prohibits it, we allow them in the designated Facebook referral threads.

You turned off the comment on fb thread
I was able to open a link from the facebook group and see the 100k offer, but there is no “apply now” link available, I have to use their preapproval tool which of course shows me a worse card with no offer and clicking back to all cards only shows the 75k offer. Anyone have a way around this?
Same issue here.
Same issue for me.
Not that I’m aware of. The 100K offer is targeted and Capital One’s targeting and approval metrics are baffling.
same issue here
Is this 100,000 but no $250 in addition? Thats what it seems
Yes, that’s correct.
I am an authorized user on Venture X and never got any cap1 card, if i see preapproval it always shows the free cards , none of the venture cards shows up. what should i do?
Im not using your dumb facebook group
What got your panties in a bunch?
While I would not use the same language as George, there are a fair number of us that are unhappy with the use of Facebook for the interactive element of Frequent Miler. There are plenty of people who have disavowed FB. I really like FM and what they do, but I am not going to start using FB for the first time since 2016. If they started using Reddit or Bluesky, or just stuck to this website, I would be much more engaged.
100% agree.
(FWIW I also think FB is off-brand for FM. FM is a trusted source for advice that’s not “talking their book”…but FB is always taking that to an 11, lol.)
Bluesky or reddit? You can’t honestly tell me you believe those are better channels to use than Facebook. They are all trash, Bluesky being the worst of the bunch.
Reddit would be better than Facebook – the search and sorting capabilities of posts and comments in Facebook groups are not good. That said I think Reddit subs are also harder to moderate.
Discord/Slack also exist and seem to be a common platform for other points and miles groups. But again they require a bit more work to moderate.
Calm down mate! Visiting a website to learn some valuable info and then ending up posting a rude comment like that is wild.
