That’s right people. Hyatt might partner with casinos like Bellagio and Wyndham might partner with casinos like The Cromwell, but Choice now offers you the opportunity to earn points on stays at casinos in aspirational locations like Council Bluffs, IA and Lawrenceburg, IN.
Sarcasm aside, this is a somewhat positive development because in the past you presumably wouldn’t earn rewards when booking stays at these casinos unless you made your reservations via a site with their own rewards program like Hotels.com. You’ll now earn 10x Choice Privileges points along with cashback having clicked through from a shopping portal.
The Choice landing page for this partnership also mentions the following:
Feel like a winner with the free mychoice rewards loyalty program! Sign up at the hotel and download the app to get special offers and earn casino points and mycash credits when you play, dine and shop on property.
I’d initially assumed that with a name like ‘mychoice’ that this was some kind of additional Choice Hotels-related program that runs separately to their Privileges loyalty program. I was half right – it does indeed run separately to Choice Privileges, but that’s because it looks like mychoice is Penn National Gaming’s own loyalty program that rewards you for your spend at their casinos, much like MGM Resorts M life and Caesars Rewards.
You didn’t mention whether Choice Privileges status will be conferred to MyChoice members.
I don’t remember seeing any information on the landing page stating whether there would be or not.

Not a popular for tourists except when they had their seafood buffets but M Resort is a popular option for locals to play at.
