If you’re a member of Costco, you can get a $300 Costco Shop Card via rebate when you either switch to or add a line to T-Mobile and bring your own device. This does not require porting a number. I think you might be able to stack this with the T-Mobile offer for a buy one, get one free line to get two lines for the price of one and possibly get $300 back on each line, but I recommend doing some more research if you want to try that play.

Quick Thoughts
If you’re looking to add just one T-Mobile line and you already have a phone on which you can activate service, getting a $300 rebate is a nice deal. We periodically see these dals for $200, but $300 is less common.
Last fall, I was able to stack a Costco rebate like this with a T-Mobile free line promotion. I added a line at Costco for free (my plan included taxes in the plan cost, so it didn’t even cost me anything additional in taxes) and I later received a $200 Costco Shop card in the mail. The paperwork at Costco reflected the normal cost of the additional line, but since I opened it during the free line promotion (and I monitored the Slickdeals thread for success reports), I knew that T-Mobile wouldn’t actually charge me for it (and they didn’t).
That’s why I think the current Buy One Line, Get One Line Free deal will probably stack with this. However, I haven’t monitored that thread closely because I’m not looking to add a paid line to my account right now. In other words, you should do your own research to be sure that they stack and that you have a qualifying rate plan. See this Slickdeals thread for research purposes. If they do stack, I think you should be able to add two lines at Costco and bring your own device on each and get two $300 cash cards, only paying for one line. Note that the Costco deal is limited to two per T-Mobile account.
what is the cheapest plan at T-Mobile that qualifies for this offer ? If it is only $30-$40, should be a pretty good deal
