Many readers will earn Dell Rewards by virtue of purchases made to utilize the Dell credits on the Business Platinum Card® from American Express—up to $150 back per calendar year, as well as $1,000 back on $5,000 of purchases in a calendar year.
In the past, Dell Rewards expired on the 15th day of the fourth month following the month in which they were earned. Dell announced yesterday that the expiration policy has been improved with immediate effect.

As you can see above, Dell Rewards will now be valid for a full six months, expiring on the last day of the sixth month after you originally earned them. That’s potentially an additional 2.5 months you’ll now get in which to redeem them which is helpful.
As a reminder, Dell lets you use three different payment methods when checking out, with rewards counting as one of those payment methods. It’d be nice if Dell updated that policy in the future whereby you could use three different payment methods (in order to redeem three Business Platinum credits on the same transaction) as well as any rewards you’ve accrued in the preceding six months. For now though, it’s at least nice to have a little extra time to use your rewards.
