A reader in Texas reached out to let us know that they found the following offer in the Dosh app for Texans.
The Deal
- Dosh is offering a $5 bonus on next Dosh purchase through 2/28 for those in Texas. I’m not sure whether this is being targeted based on GPS location or some sort of account information, but if you’re in Texas it may be worth looking in the app to see if you see it.

- Must make a purchase that qualifies for Dosh cash back by Sunday, 2/28
- Bonus cash to be deposited in your Dosh wallet by 3/10/21
Quick Thoughts
It’s only five bucks, but as there is no minimum purchase required, it could be pretty easy to trigger. Obviously five bucks isn’t going to make a world of difference to those impacted by recent events in Texas (and in this case the bonus cash will take a couple of weeks to show up), but five extra bucks doesn’t hurt. It’s not clear to me whether the bonus will work for new users or only existing users.
