The GetUpside app is offering an additional 10c off per gallon on all fill-ups at participating gas stations for the rest of today (December 31). While that doesn’t offer savings as large as you could get when using fuel points from some grocery stores, it could still be useful if you’ll be filling up your gas tank before the New Year and don’t have access to savings elsewhere.
The Deal
- Save an extra 10c per gallon when using the GetUpside app.
- My GetUpside referral link. You’ll earn 15c off per gallon (in addition to this 10c per gallon offer), while I’ll also earn 15c off per gallon after you use the app.
Key Terms
- Expires December 31, 2019 at 11:59pm EST.
Quick Thoughts
We’ve covered the GetUpside app more extensively in the past and I’ve shared my experiences with using the app, so you can read more about it here.
As a quick recap though, it’s an app which offers savings at thousands of gas stations nationwide. It’s always best to compare prices with other gas stations, but if prices are similar then this offer could be worth considering.
You’ll earn an additional 10c back per gallon which is valid on up to 50 gallons. GetUpside’s email about the offer mentions that the savings might be far greater than that, but that’s definitely a case of YMMV. At the time of writing this, we’re in Knoxville and the maximum savings at all the gas stations around here is 11c per gallon – 1c per gallon as standard and the 10c per gallon bonus from this offer.
We’re heading to Nashville later on for New Year’s Eve, but there’s not much of an increase there – the highest offer is 12c off per gallon.
Your maximum savings through this might therefore not be huge, but it could be worth considering if it’ll save you a few bucks.
If I have an EV, can you get me a discount on my electric bill?
