Giftcards.com (GCC) is running another sale on virtual Visa gift cards, this time removing the purchase fees on $100 cards when applying one of four promo codes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like this this one can be stacked with portal rewards.
The Deal
- No purchase fees when buying $100 virtual Visa gift cards from Giftcards.com with the following promo codes:
- FLASHVISA
- FLASHZERO
- NOFEE
- ZEROFEE
Terms and Conditions
- Promo codes valid 12/01/2023 – 12/02/2023
- Limit 5 cards per order
- Excludes Giftcards.com for Business orders.
- Promo codes are one-time use codes and cannot be combined with other offers.
Quick Thoughts
Assuming that you have a way to liquidate the cards, this is a decent deal in line with the weekly-ish promotions that Giftcards.com has been running lately.
GC Galore reports that Giftcards.com has told partners that it won’t be paying affiliate commission on this deal. This could indicate that shopping portals won’t pay out either. That said, it’s still worth giving it shot, just in case – the current rates are here.

Tried the last time, and CapOne shortly thereafter listed the shopping rewards status as “ineligible.” One thing I’d mention is for anyone with one of the cards that gives 5% on PayPal (e.g. Freedom Flex) you can at least get that.
I think you mean the coupon made Capital One mark it ineligible. Is that right or do you mean virtual VGC purchases in general, or something else? Thanks.
The former. Tim left open the possibility that the coupon might not negate the rewards, and I was pointing out that from my “test” it absolutely negated them.
And, FWIW, Capital One shopping offered 9% back on purchases from GiftCards.com
Have you ever had a purchase not track with a portal when using a code not listed on the portal? I haven’t done it that often but every time I did, it tracked with no problem.
Yes, I have. It often works, but there’s times that it doesn’t track (and there does seem to be some variance from portal to portal). In this situation, with GCC specifically telling partners that there won’t be affiliate commissions, I’d assume it won’t track and be pleasantly surprised if it does.
It always did for me too but my last purchase going through C1 shopping a few days ago using a promo code not listed there did not work. Specifically tracked as “ineligible”. Have done very well with C1 over the past year, maybe the fun money train is slowing down.
