There’s a new targeted Amex Offer out today on some cards good for a $10 statement credit when you spend $50 or more on Hotels.com gift cards at hotels.com/giftcards. It would stand to reason that there may also be a similar offer for 1,000 Membership Rewards points, though I haven’t yet seen it.

Quick Thoughts

As noted at the top, I did not find a Membership Rewards version of this offer, though it may be out there as well. If you do have the Membership Rewards version and the statement credit version on different cards, you should be able to use one of each version of the offer. This won’t be very scalable, but the good news is that Hotels.com gift cards are easily combinable on the Hotels.com site, so you should be able to easily combine this with other Hotels.com gift cards you’ve purchased (and/or with $50 cards bought for you perhaps by friends or family members who don’t intend to use the offer for themselves).

As always, we’ve added this to our list of current Amex Offers, where you can check the latest offers we have found on our cards.

20%. Is not bad, $10 off helps if offer is only on a card withs AF and you don’t have points or status for some destinations. I know that some people get great value from them.

While 1K MR in addition to the $10 would be sweeter still doubt I would pull trigger if it was just 1K MR offer.
