Ikea is offering a gift card deal today that may be appealing for either personal use (if need to buy stuff at Ikea or time-shift spend for purposes of meeting a welcome bonus) or for potentially for resale: get a bonus $15 Ikea eGift Card with every $75 in eGift cards purchased. You can buy up to $1,000 in Ikea gift card with this deal, getting a bonus of $195 in gift cards if you max this out at $975 in gift cards or more.

Quick Thoughts
Personally, I bought this deal for resale. I have quite a bit of minimum spend to meet in my household since my wife and I both recently opened Business Platinum cards and this helps me inch the needle forward on that front. Whether or not this is resellable for you likely comes down to your resale avenues.
This deal started early this morning and I believe that past Ikea gift card deals have sold out before day’s end, so if you want to take advantage of this one, you’ll need to be quick. Make sure you still see the banner at the top of the purchase page indicating the $15 bonus cards (as seen in the screen shot above). You should also see the bonus gift card(s) automatically in your cart after adding the gift card(s) you’re buying.
As seen above, can order multiples of $75 in a single order (for instance, if you order a $150 gift card, you’ll get two $15 bonus gift cards as shown above).
Ikea gift cards are processed by Cashstar and won’t trigger any bonus categories to my knowledge, so best to use your best “everywhere else” card or a card on which you’re working on a welcome bonus.

I thought Amex really does not like gift cards for the signup bonus. I have a couple of business platinum bonuses to hit as well but was not going to buy gift cards for them.
Hi Nick, I bought the $975 gift card 2 days ago, but so far no any bonus gc yet. Is this normal? Anybody else got similar experience? Should I contact IKEA? Do you know the best way to contact them? Thanks!
I guess you would probably need to contact Cashstar since they facilitate the gift card sales. I just went back to my order confirmation email (the one with the subject line “Your eGift card order has been created” and there is a sentence at the bottom of it that says “Have a question about your order? Click here to access our customer support tools.” — and the word “here” is a link. I guess I’d probably start there.
You should see those bonus $15 GCs reflected in your order confirmation (no gift card numbers in that order confirmation of course, it should just show that you ordered $975 in eGCs and the 13 bonus cards with $15 each. In my case, the $15 bonus cards arrived via email about 2.5hrs after I placed my order, with the $975 in eGCs arriving the next calendar day.

first time buying it. Do i need to print it out to use for store purchase or online purchase? I also received my bonus points to my email address within minutes of purchase. When do i recieve the egift card i bought?
Last time this promo ran I received both the main GC and the bonus cards several hours after purchase. This time the bonus cards arrived immediately, but I am still waiting for the main card.
Thanks. Was worry for a bit. I read that you can only use 4 gift cards for online purchases. Is there a limit for in store purchases? Also, do you need to print it out or can I have it in the wallet or show email?
I am not aware of a limit for in-store purchases. I just did screenshots of the GC barcodes on my phone, so no need to print out. However, I would advise to click on the “View my bonus card” links and capture the screenshots of the bardcodes before you get to the register.
Confirming that there is no limit to how many GCs one can use in store. I used 30 on a single purchase. It’s a pain to open the email for each GC, then open the link, solve the “captcha” and then have to enter the PIN manually at the register for each card, but in the end it’s worth it. I saved $400 and am very happy. Thanks, FM!
