Fellow Boarding Area blogger, Delta Points, has been interviewing all of the Boarding Area bloggers, and today was my turn. If you’re interested in reading about me and my blog, please take a look at the interview here. And, don’t forget to suggest ideas for my next Million Mile Madness challenge!
If you want to know more about me, here’s a link to an in-depth article: How the Rube Goldbergs of Credit Cards Fly First Class for Free. Note, though, that the picture of Singapore Airlines first class in that article is not the Singapore Suites class that I mentioned. They should have shown a photo like this:
Want to read even more about me? Really? (Unless, you’re my mom, this is getting creepy). Anyway… Here’s my first ever blog interview, when I was just a blogging puppy.
keep up the great work. I enjoyed the interview with Renee and the interview with Darius was a big reason I started reading your blog. At first, I thought you were nuts, but it did not take long to see the fine line between genius and insanity….
No one has taught me better on how to hoard miles, than you….
Thanks! I always appreciate your positive feedback!
Are you on your way to the Giant’s Causeway in that bottom picture?
No, that’s a picture of my son and I at Thingvellir, Iceland.
I’d be careful. Between Rene’s remarks about his “blood pumping faster” and “giggling,” perhaps it was best that you did this interview over the telephone. He seemed a little too enthusiastic.
I remember that first post very well! I started following you from that day. I also remember getting a quick snapshot of you so you could be located at the FTU in NJ. Now you’re here flashing your mug shot all over your blog! LOL. It has been said many times and I’ll repeat it – you are one of the best and creative thinkers in the biz so keep up the great work!
That was a big day at FTU NJ! For others: I had discovered the gold in Vanilla Reload cards a few weeks before then, but hadn’t yet posted “One card to rule them all”. I wasn’t ready to write the full post yet, so I wrote a quick post saying: “Found! the perfect perpetual point machine!” and I said that if people found me at FTU (Frequent Traveler University), I would tell them the details. I’d guess about 25 people found me to get the scoop.
Oh wow, thanks for sharing! I always enjoyed your blog and was glad to see your blog on the boardingarea blog family. I especially love your quick deals too.
I did think your million mile challenge was a bit nuts when I first read it, heh. 🙂 It’s not for everyone and not for me), but you did it! Your blog is a pleasure to read and visit.
Thank you!
