Dad’s must really love gift cards because almost everyone seems to be offering gift card deals right now in preparation for Father’s Day. I guess since neckties aren’t as common as they used to be, gift cards are becoming the default gift. Here’s a list of deals I’m aware of:
Michael’s: Buy $50 Lowes and iTunes gift cards for $40
I reported this deal previously in the post “20% off Lowes and iTunes gift cards”. Good luck finding them in stock!
Safeway: Purchase $50 in participating gift cards and get $10 towards future purchases
I reported this deal in the post “Save on gift cards at Safeway”. Read the comments of that post for details.
Food Lion: Save $10 instantly on participating $50 gift cards
Thanks to multiple readers for this tip!
Valid June 6 to June 19. Limit 1 per shopping visit.
There’s Lowes again. And a Mastercard! I wonder if you can buy the Mastercard then go back into the store (for another “visit”) and buy another Mastercard, and so on…? Depending on how high the Mastercard fee is, you might be able to rack up a bunch of free $5 or so cards…
For the initial purchase, use your Chase Freedom card (5X this quarter). Or, how about the Blue Cash Preferred for 6% cash back? Or, the Hilton HHonors for 6X points…
Staples: Buy $50 in ITunes gift cards, get a $10 Visa prepaid card (starts Sunday)
Thanks again Bitachu!
This deal is valid from June 10 through June 16. In store only. Use your Ink Bold for 5X points. Since this is a rebate instead of a discount, you’ll get 5X on the entire $50.
