Quick Thoughts
Lowe’s ran this deal a couple of times last year and has repeated it again this year a couple of times each with Visa and Mastercard gift cards. It’s a great deal for anyone who values the Lowe’s Gift Card given that Lowe’s carries $200 Visa Gift Cards (or variable-load $20-$200 cards) with a $6.95-$7.95 activation fee and in some locations might have variable load $20-$200 Grocery Everywhere cards that carry a $4.95 activation fee. Both work for the promo. Either way, you’re getting a great discount on the Lowe’s card.
Note that you need to submit for the eGift Cards online and a max of 2 can be redeemed per email address. When you submit for the Lowe’s card, it’s important to note that the number required is NOT the actual card number. It’s the longer 19-digit number just above the barcode:
Couldn’t find the $200 fixed amount cards, so asked. No one in Lowe’s had any idea what I was talking about, and suggested it might be a scam. Left without a card…
Variable GC doesn’t qualify this time.
I purchased the variable SE VGCs and they worked.
bought $200 with my chase freedom card hopefully with 5% promotion with Lowe’s spending.
I used the link and put the card number in, the $15 lowe’s card popped out immediately after hit submit.
thanks.
Did you buy the fixed $200. Or the ones labeled as $20-$200?
Be careful this time around. On another site it is being reported that the newer cards with the hologram on the back are not working for the bonus gift card. The GE cards are working fine for me.
They worked for me on the Mastercard deal of a week or two ago.
I purchased several of the gray $20-$200 cards (UPC 07675051326) and received the “The card does not qualify for the selected promotion.” error. I contacted support and they said they were not eligible for the offer. The eligible UPCs are 07675017212 and 07675017271 (I haven’t been back to the store yet to see which products these are).
Same here. I have been fighting with them via email to get that UPC eligible, but no luck. They say there is nothing they can do. The old Metabank ones seem to work though.
Update: the yellow $20-$200 (Metabank, pink packaging) cards work. Curiously, the UPC is not one of the numbers I was given by support.
***IF you click the redemption link it says ONLY $10 after a $150 Visa purchase*** Is it worth it for just $10 per card?!
Not sure if this is a typo in the offer, or a bug in the promo redemption system, but as of yesterday it was issuing $15 Lowe’s GCs.
Anyone seeing the Jetblue card-link offer for Lowes drop down to 3 points/$10? I believe over the weekend that the rate was 30 points/$10. Maybe it is just me because I shop so much during these deals at Lowes. Technically it is above and beyond the base profit, but still a potential loss. Transactions from 8/11 are already showing at Jetblue shopping at the 3 points/$1 rate.
I purchased 2 GroceryEverywhere VISA Gift Cards from LOWEs on 13-Aug-2022.
200 each and fees 4.95 each.
I registered the cards this morning at https://www.groceryeverywhere.com/ and also set up a PIN.
When I submit at the https://www.lowesgiftcardbonus.com/ site – I keep getting INVALID for GiftCard Code. I read some blogs and then corrected my entry that the GiftCard Code is not the Card Number but the Number on the rear portion of the card on the Right Hand Side.
Next is what is to be entered into the purchased card amount – 200 or 205 ? There is no way to insert a decimal in the Gift Card Amount. I keep getting “Card amount is invalid. Please check your information and try again.”
And it is giving me Purchase Date also Invalid so I really do not know what is going on
Quick answers:
1) You don’t need to register the cards. You obviously can and might want to for optimal security, but the PIN by default is the last 4 digits of the card number – so if you’re going to use the card right away, you cans skip the registration step.
2) Correct that you need the long number under the barcode where you can to activate the card (the barcode that is usually under the flap you have to remove for the cashier to scan it so you can load it / buy it.
3) Purchase amount is 200.
4) If it’s saying purchase date is invalid, you’re probably putting in the wrong date. I’ve done that before. Check your receipt and make sure you purchased on the 13th and have correctly chosen the 13th for the date.
I’ve done hundreds of these and the only times I get an error have been when I’ve input something incorrectly. It should work as you expect.
Got it Thanks.
Was putting one digit extra towards the end of the long 19-digit code.
So how long is the LOWE’s Gift Card valid for ? Or it doesnt expire ?
I don’t recall there being an expiration date, but I don’t know for sure.
Is there a place I can check the complete list of merchants where I can use this card ? I tried to pay a college fee with this card but it declined
What are the ways to quickly liquidate these cards ?
It’s a grocery card, so at a grocery store. You may have luck at some Walmarts.
$15 Lowe’s GC has an expiry of 6/29/22? Or the $15 Lowe’s GC must be requested by 6/29/22?
Do we know if the $500 gift cards that some stores carry count for this as well?
S&S has 6X Go Rewards for Lowes this week. 12% ROI for gas when calculating just go points. Get much higher ROI when you include CC miles or points. Use a card that gives grocery store bonus. Max $2K. Veterans get additional 10% discount when redeemed @ Lowes.
This is a good tip for writing works for the long articles or even the sales letters.
Sub heads make things more organized and neat as well.
I used them earlier but It makes sense to use them more.<a href=”https://techstudies.me/”>cicksuds</a>
Will the $200 gift card purchase carry a $6.95 fee here ?
There’re cards with $4.95 fee as well.
Thanks for the heads up on the True Blue shopping link!
None of my GC purchases tracked last year.
Are you sure? All of mine did. They took a very long time to post (maybe a couple of months), which tracks with my other Lowe’s purchases (appliances, etc). I’d double check your account.
Yes, used a Visa CC. Some said AMEX CCs were more likely to track.
During the December deal, I used Visa, MasterCard, and American Express and all of them tracked.
