Quick Thoughts
Although the maximum statement credit from this Amex Offer isn’t as high as the one giving $60 back, in some ways it’s superior.
That’s because you get 20% back no matter how much you spend, whereas the other offer requires that you spend $300 in order to earn the $60 statement credit. With this 20% offer, you could book a cheap one night stay somewhere and still get 20% back.
Note that this particular offer only seems to be available on business cards, while the $300/$60 offer seems like it might only be on personal cards. If you happen to get lucky and get both offers on the same card, the two will stack provided you spend $300+.
Would Costa Rica count as the Carribbean you think?
I’m not sure I’m afraid. It’s not officially part of the Caribbean, but if you don’t have any better payment options it could be worth trying with a card with this Amex Offer loaded to it in case for Amex’s purposes it is.
FM covers everything but I haven’t seen CardPointers covered here. Is it because they are your competitors? Their Pro tool is useful in many ways…
In what way are they competitors? Your post reads like a spambot.
Wasn’t able to stack them OR put the $60 offer on a Brilliant. Fortunately I have a Green so that works.
