Quick Thoughts
If you can find availability, some of these discounted award flights could prove to be good value. You’ll need to be fairly flexible with your travel dates though because this is only valid for travel in March 2023 and blackout dates apply to some routes – you can see those blackout dates on the landing page as they differ from route to route.
Note that only travel in one direction is discounted in some instances. For example, Singapore Airlines is offering a discount when flying the world’s longest flight (which I took a few months ago) from Singapore to JFK, but not in the other direction. Note that that route is only discounted in premium economy, not business class.
The business class option between JFK and Frankfurt on the other hand is bookable in both directions at the discounted award pricing.
This award sale is bookable through the end of February, but if any of the routes interest you I’d try and jump on the deal while you can in case award availability dries up. As things stand, there’s currently some great availability on at least some routes. JFK to Frankfurt has space for at least four people in business class at the 56,700 mile level on 19 days in March.
Similarly, there are 19 days of availability for four people in premium economy from Singapore to JFK on that world’s longest flight.
Can these discounted flights be changed/cancelled? and if so, at what cost?
