As reported by One Mile at a Time, United Airline’s new non-stop flight between Newark and Johannesburg, South Africa begins March 27th, and business class awards are widely available in the summer of 2021.
Here are the results of a search I ran for two adults flying Newark to Johannesburg:
Each of the days that show 70K are available at United Saver levels. This means that you can book these flights for even fewer miles with some partner airlines. For example, via ANA (which transfer from Amex Membership Rewards), you can book this flight round-trip for only 104,000 miles (compared to 150K miles via United):
Hey Greg, It seems UA has pulled their Business award space for EWR-JNB.
Bummer
Good Post I have watching this one from ORD .But one virus late and an early deal I bet too so up $$.
Thats wonderful but there’s a reason for this, first it’s a new flight and just put on the schedule then most importantly who’s going to fly to SA? I say this as someone that travels there or use to at least once to twice a year and almost moved to Camps Bay. I do agree the flight is welcomed lets see how all this shakes out.
