Update 9/18/19: Publix is also offering a $10 discount when buying a $50 gas gift card when also purchasing $50 of groceries. That deal should stack with this Visa gift card deal, so you might as well take advantage of both. Here’s a link to the coupon you need for the gas gift card.
~
Publix is currently offering a coupon to save $10 on $50 in groceries when you buy a $50 Visa Gift Card. The coupon is valid until September 20, 2019. If you shop at Publix, this is like a free five bucks in groceries (since the VGC will carry a $4.95 activation fee).

- Publix is currently offering a coupon to save $10 on $50 in groceries when you buy a $50 Visa Gift Card from September 7, 2019 to September 20, 2019
- Direct link to the weekly ad
Key Details
- Must print coupon and buy at least $50 in groceries (excluding alcohol, tobacco, lottery items, money services, postage stamps, fuel cards, phone and gift cards, and prescriptions) with a $50 Visa Gift Card.
- Limit 1 coupon per household per day
Quick Thoughts
If you’re a regular Publix shopper, you might as well bring a $50 Visa Gift Card with you to the checkout counter if you have $50 or more in groceries. Five bucks is five bucks and you could always use the $50 GC to do something like load up fifty bucks in your Amazon account if you don’t want to buy a MO with a $50 GC. This is a small win, but when combined with the opportunity to use a card that earns one of the best category bonuses at grocery stores, I’d say it’s definitely a win for Publix shoppers.
