UPDATE: Here’s the link to register. You can register as many cards as you want, one at a time.
Registration opened today for Small Business Saturday. For full details, please see:
This post is simply a reminder that registration is now open. Don’t forget that you can register all Amex credit and charge cards (including Amex cards issued by other banks).
Bluebird & Serve work. REDbird doesn’t
In general, you can’t register prepaid cards or gift cards except for Serve and Bluebird. So register all of your Bluebird cards (including family accounts) and all of your Serve cards (including Subaccounts). Remember also that all authorized user Amex cards are eligible as well.
I tried registering a Target Prepaid REDcard, just in case, but the registration failed, as expected.
Each card can be worth up to $30 on Saturday November 29th. This year, the terms & conditions allow for 3 $10 statement credits per Amex card. That means it is possible to earn $30 per card!
How to register:
According to the terms & conditions, you have the following options:
A. By completing the registration form accessible via ShopSmall.com
B. By logging in to your account at americanexpress.com and clicking on the ‘Amex Offers’ tab or ‘Small Business
Saturday’ offer tile in ‘Amex Offers & Benefits’
C. By logging into the American Express App and visiting the ‘Offers For You’ tab in the ‘Membership’ section
D. By adding the offer directly to your connected Card via amex.co/facebook
E. By tweeting #AmexShopSmall to add the offer directly to your connected Card

Are you seeing any credits on Serve or Bluebird? We used multiple of each(added Family Account cards) and they registered properly. Yet we’re not seeing any $10 credits from our purchases. We did receive the instant emails though.
Give it a few more days. I don’t even have credits on my regular credit cards yet, but I know they’ll come.
My husband is an authorized user on my Fidelity AmEx. When I try to sign him up, it says, “Sorry, this card is already registered.” Is there a way to differentiate his card from mine?
No, I believe that only with Amex’s own cards (as opposed to other bank’s that offer Amex cards) can you sign up authorized users.
How would you know which offers are attached to Serve card or any bank issued Amex card? They are obviously not shown on amex.com
Check your email to see if you received acknowledgement from Amex for the offer
I will be out of the country on this day. Can I still participate? How do I find small business that sell gift cards online?
You’ll have to check your local businesses to see if they sell gift cards online or on the phone. even then, whether it works depends on how exactly they process those purchases. I think that the only way to know if it works is to try it with one order then wait about 30 minutes or so to see if you get a confirmation email from Amex.
