A few weeks ago, Nick shared how it was possible to stack some deals to save 44% or more on Spafinder gift cards. A couple of those deals ended and so we marked it as expired.
The foundation of the stack – a code for 30% off Spafinder gift cards – has been working this entire time though. Thanks to a higher portal cashback rate and discounted Happy gift cards, it’s possible to increase the savings to 44.5% off – here’s how.
Step 1 – Discounted Happy Gift Cards
The first step is a trip to Safeway, Albertson’s or another of their affiliated grocery stores. They have several digital coupons offering discounts on Happy gift cards.
Happy Lady, Happy Beauty and Happy Bride all offer Spafinder as one of the participating retailers and all three of those are being offered with a $7.50 instant discount. You’ll need to buy a $70 card for Happy Beauty or Happy Bride in order to stack these deals. If you buy a Happy Lady card, the digital coupon requires that you load $75 in order to get the $7.50 discount (the other two cards have a minimum requirement of $50).
Step 2 – TopCashback
TopCashback is currently offering 10% cashback at Spafinder, the highest rate across all portals at the moment. Cashback is even earned on gift card purchases.
Step 3 – Coupon Code
Once you’ve clicked through to Spafinder, add a $100 gift card and enter coupon code SPAFORALL when checking out. That code gives a 30% discount on gift card purchases of $100 or more, so your cart total will be $70.
Net Cost
A $70 Happy Beauty or Happy Bride gift card would have cost you $62.50. You’ll earn a further $7 from TopCashback as the cashback is earned on the final total (i.e. $70 rather than $100). That makes the net cost $55.50 for total savings of 44.5%.
If you don’t have a Safeway near you, you’ll still save 37% by clicking through from TopCashback and using the SPAFORALL coupon code. It could still be worth purchasing one of the Happy gift cards at a different store if you’ll earn a category bonus at grocery stores/office supply stores or fuel points at grocery stores.

I just did similar to this. Zeel is a massage on demand app startup and is in the spa finder network. You can email them your spafinder certificates and they’ll apply to your account. A few weeks ago we had a couples massage in our private villa booked with points!
