Quick Thoughts
There are some decent cashback rates here. Booking IHG stays to earn 8% cashback is a good return, while 11% cashback for Radisson stays is the highest it’s been in at least the last 15 months based on the best rate history listed on Cashback Monitor. Update: As noted by Brant, the 11% rate is only for Radisson International, not for Radisson stays in the US (that rate is 5%).
Those aren’t the only good deals though. 11% cashback for booking activities through Viator is a very nice return, especially seeing as you can also earn 3x Ultimate Rewards by paying for those activities with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. 6% cashback on Caesars stays could be useful if you’re planning a trip to Vegas or for a stay at one of their non-Vegas locations, plus there are increased cashback rates for luggage brands such as 6% at Tumi.
If you’re interested in any of these, it could be worth booking sooner rather than later. For example, Radisson only appears to be at 11% for the rest of today, although it’ll hopefully drop to 10% until the end of Travel Week rather than any lower. Having said that, I don’t know when TopCashback’s Travel Week is due to end as there’s no expiry date listed.
If you’ve never shopped through TopCashback before, you can currently earn an exclusive $30 bonus when joining and earning $10 cashback. These increased rates can help you meet that $10 earning threshold. For example, booking a stay at an IHG property costing $125 before tax will earn you exactly $10 cashback based on that 8% rate. You’d then earn the $30 signup bonus for a total of $40 cashback which is a great return. That’s on top of the bonus AAdvantage miles you can get when paying with a card linked to the SimplyMiles offers and/or the cashback earned if you have the IHG Chase Offer (thanks to Arnold for the remind about the stacking opportunities).
Wouldn’t all of these earn 3x on the sapphire reserve? Not sure what makes Viator special…
Yes, they would. The reason I highlight Viator is because activities booked through Viator wouldn’t necessarily be assumed to code as travel.
IHG stackable with Simply Miles offer (AA miles) and if you have a Chase credit card, check for 15-20% cashback by charging the hotel bill to that card
Thanks for the reminder – I’ve added those stacking opportunities to the post.
You should note that the 11% back on Radisson is only for international hotels. Domestic hotels appear to be less.
Thanks – I’ve added that to the post.
