Quick Thoughts
These are two separate offers, so you can earn $40 in points when purchasing $40 of both HomeSquare and BestSelling items. The terms state that it’s a limit of two per member which makes it sound like you can spend $160 and get $160 back ($40 * limit 2 per member * 2 sellers), but I’m not certain that’s how it works.
If you’ve been taking advantage of the other recent Sears deals (e.g. this one and this one), be aware that these points will be awarded seven days after purchase. Points on those previous deals were awarded one day after you placed your order.
Using the price filter on the left of the Sears site, I found tons of items around the $40 mark. It doesn’t look like there are any cheap filler items sold by either seller though; BestSelling has several items for $7-$10, but the cheapest item from HomeSquare is $11.99.
There are links to the landing pages above, but be sure to click through from a portal to earn cashback or miles. The best rate is currently 10 miles through United’s MileagePlus portal. If you have the British Airways credit card though, the Avios portal might earn you more when taking into account the 1,000 point bonus.
Edit: John’s pointed out in the comments below that Sears Marketplace items are excluded from most portals. It’s still worth clicking through from a portal just in case, but it’s doubtful you’d earn miles / cashback.
Generally, marketplace items are excluded from portals.Mauddub6, did you have a different experience and with which portal?
Ah, that’s a good point – I’ll update the post.
I placed my order on the 23rd- 2 orders. Both included a homesquare and a bestselling item each. Pending rewards shows $80 in points on each order. So, should be good to go on the 2 per rule and can do 1 of each offer per order. You can’t get 2 homesquare or 2 bestselling in one order.
That’s awesome, thanks for sharing that.
