There’s a new United MileagePlus portal bonus offering up to 1,000 bonus miles – here’s more about the promotion.
The Deal
- Spend $150 and earn 300 bonus miles.
- Spend $350 and earn 1,000 bonus miles.
- Earn an additional 100 bonus miles when spending $50 at one or more of the following stores:
- Macy’s
- Groupon
- Nike
- Magazines.com

Quick Thoughts
This promotion offers an extra 2 United miles per dollar when spending $150 or 2.86 miles per dollar when spending $350. Those aren’t particularly generous bonuses, so as always it’s best to check Cashback Monitor to see if you’d earn more cashback / miles through other portals.
The MileagePlus portal does currently have the highest or joint-highest rate for several retailers though, including Backcountry, Tory Burch and Under Armour. Earning an additional 300 / 1,000 miles for an already high rate is therefore a nice bonus.
There’s also a targeted Tory Burch Amex Offer at the moment. That’s offering $70 or 7,000 Membership Rewards when spending $325, so you’d only be $25 away from earning the 1,000 bonus miles if taking advantage of that offer too.
