10% back at Dell up to $1,000 back with new Amex Offer [targeted, enrollment required]

3

There’s a new targeted Amex Offer out for Dell that provides 10% back up to $1,000 back. This could stack nicely with ordinary card benefits if one finds it on a Business Platinum card.

The Deal

  • A new targeted Amex Offer is out that’s good for 10% back at Dell, up to $1,000 back [enrollment required]

Key Terms

  • Expires 4/26/24
  • Offer valid online only at US website dell.com, through the mobile app or by calling 1-877-275-3355.
  • Valid only for purchases made directly with the merchant. Transactions through third party payment processors are excluded.
  • This offer does not apply to refurbished items, systems or spare parts and is not valid for online auctioneers, Professional Associations, or other Dell Member Purchase Programs.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside the US, Puerto Rico, USVI and Guam.
  • Excludes all e-gift card and gift card purchases, international transactions, international contact center, Global events, Dell Financial services, Dell Outlet for Home, Dell Outlet for Work, Dell Healthcare, Dell PartnerDirect, Dell Premier, Dell Premier Connect, Dell Premier Select, and authorized Dell® retailers.
  • Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

Quick Thoughts

Card-linked offers for Dell are nice because they stack well with shopping portals. We sometimes see Rakuten offer 10% back / 10x Membership Rewards points or better on Dell purchases. If you enroll in this Amex Offer and then click through Rakuten to make your Dell purchase, you should be able to stack rewards from both.

Better yet, if you find this offer on a Business Platinum card, you should be able to stack it with the twice-annual Dell credit offered by that card. Just be sure to spend more than $222.23 if you’re stacking the offer for 10% back with the Business Platinum card benefit (in the past, those who made a purchase for just $200 would come out around $20 ahead and Amex clawed back credits on some people in that situation, whereas they didn’t claw back credits for those who spent enough not to end up with a negative balance).

Also keep in mind that the Amex login sometimes only shows 100 offers per card, so you may need to sync up offers to bring your total under 100 in order to see all of the available offers on your card — I read some reports of people not seeing the 10% back offer initially until they added enough offers to see some of the hidden ones.
