(EXPIRED) 10% or 15% back on Hyatt via Chase Offer (up to $25 back)

Update 10/11/20: Stephen was targeted for 10% back on his World of Hyatt card again, so that likely means the 15% offer is available for some Chase cardholders too.

This is a brand new offer rather than an extension of the previous offer, so you’ll need to link it to your card again if you want to use it. The new offer has an expiration date of November 22, 2020. Note that there’s been a slight change to the terms as it’s now only valid at domestic properties whereas past offers appeared to be valid at Hyatt properties worldwide.

If you’re not targeted for this offer right now, be sure to keep an eye on all your Chase cards in the coming weeks as Chase rolled this out to more people a couple of weeks later last time.

Update 8/21/20: Despite not being targeted when we posted this new round on August 7th, I found this offer newly appeared in my account today. It’s worth checking again if you weren’t previously targeted and you have upcoming Hyatt stays.

Update 8/7/20: The previous offer ended on 8/3, but a new targeted offer for Hyatt has appeared for some Chase cardholders with the same terms as below but now expiring 10/5/20. Last time, some members were targeted for 10% back and others for 15% back. This time, Stephen was targeted for 10% back on his World of Hyatt credit card. I didn’t find it on any of the cards in my household. YMMV.

There is a new highly targeted Chase Offer out that’s good for 10% back when you spend $100 or more (up to $25 back on $250) at any Hyatt hotel (including Andaz, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt House, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Regency, or Park Hyatt hotels).

The Deal

• Get 10% back at Hyatt hotels when you spend $100 or more (up to $25 back) with a new targeted Chase Offer, or
• Get 15% back at Hyatt hotels when you spend $100 or more (up to $38 back) with a new targeted Chase Offer.

Quick Thoughts

Again, this one appears to be highly targeted. Stephen found it on a World of Hyatt credit card and old Hyatt credit card in his household, but I didn’t find it on any cards in my household.

If you have this offer, be sure to sync it to your card and then be sure to use the card for the maximum amount on the first swipe. This offer is not cumulative — so if you use it once on a stay that costs $100, you’ll only get $10 back even if you have subsequent Hyatt stays. You’d therefore ideally use this on a stay of $250. For the same reason, you may want to avoid using the card synced with this offer at check-in since the hotel may take some smaller deposit initially that could trigger a smaller bonus — I’d instead wait and use the card at checkout for the final bill (I’m not sure this is necessary, but it’s the strategy I’d follow).

The savings here isn’t huge, but if it’s always worth syncing something like this in case it unexpectedly becomes useful.
