The Just4U supermarket loyalty program has an offer this week for $10 off of $150+ in Visa or Mastercard gift cards through 11/28/17. This should work at Safeway, Vons, Albertsons, and other stores in the same program. You can load this one online / in the app. This offers shows a limit of 1 per customer.

Quick Thoughts
This is a nice way to save on the activation fees and come out a couple of bucks ahead on a gift card purchase while earning free rewards. A few users in the Doctor of Credit post on this offer noted using this successfully on $500 Visa Gift Cards today, so it looks as though it should work on your choice of cards. Furthermore, some chains are offering additional gas rewards this week which might apply to these gift cards, further increasing the win.
Of note, I saw a couple of gift card fuel point deals in my Just4U Safeway account. For example, I saw 10x fuel points on Google Play gift cards.
That’s probably not enough to make this worthwhile on its own, but if any stacking deals come out for Google Play gift cards over Black Friday week, it might become useful.
As always, maximize the deal by using a card that earns the Best Category Bonus at grocery stores.

I got this offer a couple weeks ago and it didn’t work when I added $500 to a variable load gift card. Going to try again today with a $150 gift card but i’d be curious to know if other people have gotten this to work with amounts above $150
As noted in the post, several commenters at Doctor of Credit (link at the bottom of my post) confirmed it worked today on $500 cards.
A couple of weeks ago, this deal worked on the one that has kevlar wrap variable $25 to $500. It didn’t work on floral wrap.
WARNING: one of the gift cards did not work with swipe. Tried many places and swiping did not read the card. Worked if manually punch in the card info. And 3 days ago, when I checked the balance someone had used my card at Samsclub in Southern California and left $0.01only. The gift card was also a little strange. The face has a layer of plastic sticker that I can peel but not easily.
It worked for me today on a $500 variable (Kevlar wrap package) at a Safeway.
