Quick Thoughts
This offer is pretty limited in scope in the sense that you have to be buying a ticket with the airline from the US site in US dollars and basically nothing else qualifies. If that fits your situation, saving a hundred bucks will surely be nice.
Keep in mind that you should comparison shop not only with other airlines, but with the foreign version of the site. If they specified that you must use the US version of the site, I wonder if the pricing matches on the Argentine version. About a decade ago, I spent about 9 months living in Ecuador. I accidentally stumbled on the fact that a flight I was looking at on LAN (at the time…now LATAM) was about 30% cheaper on the Spanish-language version of the website than the English version. I’ve not found that to consistently be the case in the years since, but it happens. I usually check these days before booking, so it’s worth taking a look.
I took a quick glance at Google Flights and didn’t really see Aerolineas Argentinas looking very competitive on any routes, but if you need to fly to a smaller market in Argentina or you catch a sale, it’ll be good to have this offer loaded.
As always, we’ve added this one to our Current Amex Offers database.
