Frequent Miler's latest team challenge, Million Mile Madness, is almost done! The last two weeks Greg, Nick, and Stephen competed to earn 1 Million SAS miles by flying 15 airlines. But who completed the challenge with the most Speed, Affordability, and Style?
This morning, we published a post about big increased payouts at some popular retailers through the United MileagePlus shopping portal. The star of the show was Staples offering 10 United MileagePlus miles per dollar. Unfortunately, it was very short lived. Shortly thereafter, people began reporting that the rate had dropped to 2 or 3 miles per dollar (depending on whether or not they held a Mileage Plus credit card). Wondering if there had been a mistake, we reached out to a representative of the shopping portal and they confirmed that they will honor 10x for those orders received between midnight and 10am. I believe that the Mileage Plus shopping portal runs on Central Time, though it wasn’t immediately clear.
Of course, if your order did not meet portal terms (i.e. you ordered something that was excluded based on the terms), you won’t likely receive help getting credited. Still, it’s nice that they intend to honor it for those who purchased expecting a full payout. The same should hold true for Macy’s and other stores that were offering increased payouts. You can’t win ’em all, but in this case at least some readers probably earned a nice return this morning.
Fine way of describing, and pleasant post to get facts regarding my presentation topic,
which i am going to present in university.
Strapless is still 8x at shop through chase (ink).
Macy’s has been 10x for a few days.

At least now we know what your auto-correct is programmed for. 🙂
[…] #2: It looks like this one will be honored for those who got in before the payouts changed. See this post for more […]
