There’s a new Amex Offer out that’s good for $15 back or 1,500 Membership Rewards points when you spend $50 or more at 1800Flowers.com. The timing on that is good because: A) It’s almost Mother’s Day and B) You may be able to get 30% back via Ebates today (or alternatively 30x Membership Rewards points). That makes for a nice little stack.

The Deal

  • Get $15 back when you spend $50 or more at 1-800-Flowers with a new Amex Offer

Key Details

  • Expires 6/30/19
  • Should be able to load and use one of the statement credit version and one of the Membership Rewards version on different cards.

Quick Thoughts

Today makes for a nice convergence of deals since you could stack this money back with 30% back from the Ebates portal — or 30x Membership Rewards points (which is valid at the time of writing, on Monday, 5/6/19). In the end, that’s like a total of $30 or 3K points back on 50 if you stack cash/cash or points/points. Keep in mind that once you click through Ebates to 1800Flowers, you can order from one of the other 1800Flowers brands (like Harry & David, Sherri’s Berries, etc) and in our experience you will still earn the rewards from the portal you clicked through. Just be sure to click through and then shop and checkout in one session.

Also keep in mind that in lieu of the Ebates rewards, you can use an airline promo code that awards miles, but you can’t stack both.

Overall, not a bad deal if you’re ordering flowers or gifts. It’s possible that the Ebates 30% back may only be valid today.

I haven’t been able to use the ebates 30% promo, because I can’t figure out how to log out of ShopRunner. Any advice?

I used CHASEPAY40 to get 40% off plus my Hyatt card which I registered to get 10% CB thru chase offers. Also, here’s a trick I found to get Shoprunner when using a promo code. Once your ready to check out and it says the promo code is activated, just refresh the page. The order will be placed and you get free shoprunner shipping. If you would have clicked place order, you would have gotten the message that shoprunner cannot be combined w/ promo codes. You can turn shoprunner on & off on the order page.

Great tip on ShopRunner! I couldn’t figure out how to tell it to use ShopRunner (a problem I’ve had before), but I solved that this time by logging into ShopRunner first in my browser and then going through the order placement process at 800-FLOWERS. And refreshing the checkout page did the trick! Thanks!

Also, the $15 off $50 AmEx offer was NOT available for me via the AmEx web site, but I looked in the AmEx app under “offers” and found it there. As soon as I added it in the app, it showed up under “Added to Card” on the AmEx web site.

There was a paypal get $15 of $15 for 1800flowers. I sent my mom some gift box for $6 after coupon – before Rakuten cashback with free shipping with Shoprunner.

The ebates 30% is dead but TopCashBack is offering 24% which made for a nice deal on my Mom’s flowers.
