A Hilton representative on Flyertalk has announced they are now performing status matches for elites from other programs. Here is how to request a match:
- Submit your request by January 11, 2016 to get status through March 2017.
- Send something that shows your elite tier in another program and send your HHonors number.
- Send the info to HHonorMyStatus@hilton.com.
Unclear Terms
At this point it is unclear what competitor statuses they are matching and what status that will gain you with Hilton. I do expect that this will be popular, so it may be wise to request a match sooner rather than later. Hopefully they will match to HHonors Diamond, but there is no guarantee of that at this point. We will have to wait and see!

Is it possible to use the new HHonors Diamond status to match at other hotel brands? We’d love Hyatt and SPG.

Same for me. Used Spire Elite as well as Carlson Gold and they matched me to Diamond. And I was only a few purchases away from Gold on my HHonors card too.
