what is the rebate id?
the cashier gave me a duplicate receipt, so no rebate form no order number on it.
@Alan: should be the bar code number at the bottom of the receipt. Hopefully you have that. They usually print out 4 or 5 receipts – a lot of paper – when I purchase a rebate deal. And the bar code number is at the bottom of each. If you have that, go to stapleseasyrebates.com and enter your info.
I could only find Mastercard $25 GCs at the nearest Staples. Doing the math that works out to 12 (12 X $25 = $300) times 4.99 activation fee – rounding off to $60. Gee, spend 60 to get 20 back? Wrong carrot to chase.
Out of curiosity, can the rebate cards be sent to a PO Box. I doubt that they can but I want to see if anyone has had success sending them there.
Yes, rebate cards can be sent to PO Box. But Staples is wacky with some auto-correction of certain city names with matching zip codes, and sometimes the card is sent, according to Staples, but “never received” by PO. May require follow-up inquiry to rebate ctr if no card received after 30 days past send date. Can be a pain.
Can you load Serve with these?
Yes. If you are doing it at the Walmart register it will initially register as a credit card, so you have to quickly hit the “change tender type” red button and tell it that the card is debit. At the kiosk it works fine and it should work fine at other stores such as Rite Aid or Family Dollar.
Thanks 🙂
It’s a yellow “Change Payment” button on the terminal, not red (at least at the stores that I’ve been to).
Thanks. I haven’t had to do it in awhile and perhaps I got the color mixed up!
your Serve is still alive? you lucky devil!
Mine’s sooooooooo dead. But I got a new one under my SO’s name 🙂
I haven’t been able to load MC GCs for a few months at the WM kiosks, even trying to load amounts below $50. So if kiosks are your preferred route, don’t go all in until you confirm they work for you.
Visa GCs work fine though for me.
Thanks – appreciated the data point!
