Welcome to our weekly list of what’s ending this week as well as a collection of some other deals that are due to end soon.
Thursday marks the end of the month, so there are loads of deals ending that day. Included in that is potentially the last opportunity we’ll get to buy Starpoints at a 35% discount before the August 1 changes.
The Hyatt Regency Amex Offer also ends today. Just to give a couple of data points, I bought two $200 physical gift cards from the Hyatt Regency Columbus last month and that triggered the Amex Offer.
A couple of weeks later I tried buying one at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland but that didn’t work. It was issued in the form of an egift card with the transaction being processed by Buyatab (seemingly similar to CashStar), so that didn’t trigger the Amex offer as it wasn’t processed by the hotel. So if you’re planning on buying gift cards on this final day of the offer, be aware that it might only work on physical gift cards.
