The Dosh app is once again offering 4% back in-store at OfficeMax / Office Depot through Saturday, 9/25/21. There is a limit of $10 cash back per day, but that could still make this deal worth the effort.
The Deal
- The Dosh app is offering 4% in-store instant cash back at Office Depot / OfficeMax from today though Saturday September 25, 2021
- If you’re new to Dosh, feel free to sign up using one of our referral links. We’ll earn $10 when you sign up and connect and verify your first card, but I’m not entirely sure what you’ll receive as a signup bonus. It used to be $5, then they reduced it to $1, but I’m not sure if it’s gone back up now or not.

Key Terms
- $10 maximum cash back per day
- Cash back not valid on gift card purchases
- Valid only at participating locations
Quick Thoughts
Regular Dosh users will likely be happy to see this deal despite the somewhat restrictive terms. While they have offered 6% back for a single day a couple of times recently, this deal is ongoing for a week which is a nice change.

Just purchased an item online today through the 6% Retailmenot Office Depot link. Instantly received a thank you email from Dosh for my purchase which I did not expect. Says 4% pending back for my purchase. Now waiting for my Retailmenot cash back.
Hi Guys, thanks for posting these deals. Just an FYI though that almost always, TopCashback USA offers the highest discounts. For instance, their current rate at Office Depot/OfficeMax is 6%.
Two things: first, this offer with Dosh is an in-store offer that provides cash back when shopping in-store with a credit card you linked to Dosh in advance. Think of it like an Amex Offer that you can sync to any credit card.
TopCashBack is a shopping portal, so that rate only applies when shopping online (though in all likelihood, you could probably link a card to Dosh and then click through TopCashBack and buy something from Office Depot and check out with the credit card you linked to Dosh and get both portal cash and Dosh cash back, though YMMV).
Separately, while I find TopCashBack to have the highest portal rates in some instances and I have used TopCashBack many many times over the years, saying that they “almost always” have the best rate is a stretch, Use shopping portal comparison site CashBackMonitor.com (https://www.cashbackmonitor.com/) to compare rates at different portals and see which is best if you’re shopping online.
But again, this Dosh offer is something different.
Hi Nick, I stand corrected! I hadn’t read the details close enough to realize this was in-store. That is definitely an advantage. I sincerely appreciate your detailed response and very much appreciate your Frequent Miler platform. I’m a loyal fan! Thanks to you I used the Ratuken 5% in-store discount with Walmart last night – an hour before it expired. 🙂
Another quick point, I’ve not had any luck with TopCashBak (or maybe it was Rakuten) working on gift cards.
