Key Terms
- Expires 12/31/20
- Excludes bundles that include wireless/Internet/etc
- Excludes DirecTV, U-Verse, AT&T Internet and so on
- See offer for full terms
Quick Thoughts
Again, this is a great deal for subscribers who are spending the money anyway and now save eighty bucks.
If you’re looking to sign up, keep in mind that shopping portals are offering anywhere from a couple thousand miles to $35 back for signing up and also see this post I did about a DirecTV Chase Offer that might give you a technique to get a couple hundred bucks in Visa Gift Cards and an extra $50 for hesitating for a few minutes.
Note that the terms exclude the many types of bundles you are likely to have (like AT&T TV with wireless or with Internet or with wireless and Internet and whatever other add-ons they like to sell), but YMMV as to enforcement. I suppose it depends on how the charge codes on your statement.
[…] $40 back on $50+ at AT&T TV with new Amex Offer (up to 2x) (Expires 12/31/20) […]
Rakuten has been having a 10-12k point offer for bundled ATT TV and Fiber. Plus ATT have me 350 in gift cards. It is a 24 month contract though. I’ll give this a shot too.
I read the fine print and checked into this closer. My advice is STAY AWAY. I currently have AT&T TV Now, which is month to month. What this deal is for is AT&T TV (without the Now). It appears to be rebranded AT&T TV Now, but with a BIG catch: it is a 24 month contract. NO thanks.
For those who have the service, are you able to go to your account and pay exactly $50? Can you make such a payment if you already have a credit balance? Do you get the confirmation email or credit from Amex when doing this?
I’ll save you more than $80. Don’t sign up for AT&T TV and go with any other streaming TV service. IF you are a AT&T TV subscriber, cancel as soon as your 24 month commitment ends & go with any other streaming TV service. Your welcome.

Am I right in thinking that this is not month-to-month like Youtube TV? Appears on their website that AT&T is trying to get people into 24 month contracts. Otherwise I would cancel YTTV and try this out for a couple months
I’m sure it probably is a contract, yes.
