Costco.com is offering two $50 Spafinder gift cards for $69.99 today through November 19, 2023. This deal caught my eye because I had not long ago written about booking a Day Spa package at a Miraval resort and using discounted Spafinder gift cards to make it an even better deal.

Quick Thoughts
These discounted cards could obviously make for a good deal for a gift or spa trip if you have a local spa that accepts them. I’m planning to buy some because it makes the Day Spa Package a bit more attractive at Miraval.
My “local” Miraval (the Berkshires property) has increased the weekday Day Spa rate to $449 from Sunday to Friday and Saturdays remain $499. That means that $315 worth of these gift cards can buy a Sunday through Friday day spa package or $350 worth will buy a Saturday. That includes $210 toward spa services or fee-based activities, complimentary lunch, complimentary smoothies, snacks, and coffee, and numerous complimentary class options from 8:30am-5pm. While that’s still not cheap, it offers a nice discount over an overnight package.
Keep in mind that the Freedom card is offering 5x this quarter at warehouse clubs on up to $1500 if you have activated it.

That $449 Sun-Fri rate which includes “a $210 resort credit per person”.
Is that the rate for 2 people? So 2 people $449 or if those gift cards work, you’d pay approx. $315 worth of these gift cards?

Do you earn Hyatt brand explorer and/or points with these bookings?
Nope.
Anything extra purchased with a Hyatt cc while on-prop tho still earns 4x
