Caesars Diamond match offer for both new and existing players

Miles Talk has uncovered some cool news: Caesars Rewards in Atlantic City is starting a new status match offer in 2026. What’s notable here is that the new match terms indicate that it will be open to both new and existing accounts. While Caesars has historically offered a match for new accounts, the ability for those with existing accounts to match is new. That said, none of the qualifying matching statuses are easy to get, so this will likely only be useful to those who have been status matching in Atlantic City already this year.

The Deal

• Caesars Rewards will be offering a status match opportunity in Atlantic City that offers the chance to match up to Diamond status for both new and existing accounts. The match is scheduled to run from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, though keep in mind that promotions like this can change at any time. There is no indication that this will be available in Las Vegas.
• Terms indicate that you can match from the following statuses:
  • Ocean Casino Resort | Prime or Reserve
  • Hard Rock Atlantic City | X Card
  • Borgata | Gold, Platinum or Noir
  • Bally’s Atlantic City | Legend
  • Resorts | Paramount, Paramount Plus or Red Carpet
  • Golden Nugget | Chairman or Elite

• Casino status matching can only be done in person in Atlantic City

Quick Thoughts

Caesars has long offered a match for new players whereby it was possible to match up to Diamond status, but only if you were new to Caesars Rewards. It is a surprising development to see the terms for the new offer indicate that it is open to both new and existing accounts.

That said, the terms are a bit limited as you can only match from select statuses (and given the terms, we expect that this will only work in Atlantic City). The match is scheduled to run from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, though keep in mind that it could change at any time. Note that you must earn 100 tier credits before the Diamond Tier Benefits are loaded to your account. That will require some gambling, though you may be able to hedge your bets.

Keep in mind that Caesars Diamond benefits include waived resort fees, $100 Diamond Celebration Dinner credit, and a complimentary 4-night stay at Atlantis Bahamas (subject to the resort fee).

This won’t be useful for everyone, but for those who still have valid status with one of the competitor casinos, this could be a great way to keep the status matching going both for future casino matches and, potentially, free cruises.
