Sorry about that everyone. You do need a student account to access this deal. I’ve updated the post accordingly. I believe that if you have access to a .edu email account you can sign up as a student…
That is correct. As long as you have a .edu email you can get a student account. You can also get Prime for half price if your account is an Amazon Student account. Thankfully my former University lets everyone keep their email addresses after graduation which comes in handy.
They run promotions like this where you buy a physical gift card and you get a egift card for x dollars back 4 or 5 times a year.
How do I access this? Not seeing the Amazon gift card under lightning deals.

Seems to only work for physical cards. Wouldn’t let me apply the code when trying to purchase a egift cert. Of course I was using my own email, so I don’t know if this disqualifies the promotion.
Thanks for the tip.
Giving Assistant’s rules for Amazon exclude gift cards.
Ugh, that’s 3 am Eastern time :/ If there’s a limit of 1, not worth it. If there’s no limit, worth it!
Not seeing this gift card deal.
It’s not midnight pacific yet. 🙂
For regular amazon goods, will giving assistant honer stuff paid by amazon gift cards?
