Quick Thoughts

While you may have a card that earns more points at some of the new merchants (e.g. Staples, restaurants), I think it’s still worth adding the promotion for when there is an Amex Offer at any of these merchants. The extra 1X should stack on top of what you normally earn. For example, I just added many of these to my Blue Business Plus, so I expect to get a total of 3X between this promotion and 2X on the first $50,000 in purchases annually. If you have an Everyday Preferred, I would expect you to receive 1X on top of your normal earnings — meaning a total of 2.5X on non-bonused spend if you make at least 30 transactions per billing cycle. If you have multiple Membership Rewards-earning cards, I suggest opening multiple tabs to register more than one card. This is an easy promotion that can earn you some extra points — but don’t forget to register.

I also have had no offers on my Biz Blue Plus card since opening it. Nick, can you please confirm for all of us whether you actually had these offers on this card? Thanks.

I got a rock. No Whole Foods 2x on any of my MR cards.

P

With the exception of Macy’s I don’t have any of them or they don’t ship to my neck of the woods.

I have to echo the questions above. I have only had the Turbo Tax offer on my Blue Bus card and have put lots of spend on it since I opened it when the product first launched.

Susan

How are you getting offers on your Blue Business Plus? I haven’t had any since the card came out and I opened it.
