Quick Thoughts
This Amex Offer only applies to the Destination properties in Hyatt’s portfolio. There’s quite a few interesting hotels wrapped up this somewhat oddball collection. My wife and I had a great stay at the Tempe Mission Palms (a Destination property) in 2022 and spent a magical couple of days at the Hana Maui Resort last year.
Since the credit is fixed at $75, the discount percentage is largest when the total is closest to $300. However, Amex allows that amount to be reached in more than one transaction, so it should be possible to hit it fairly close to $300 and then pay with a more lucrative Hyatt card.
Also note that the stay just has to be paid by 12/31. So, prepaying a stay which occurs after that date should trigger the offer without issue.
So if I had a stay at Hana Maui, could I use both this $75 off $300 Destination by Hyatt and the $150 off $700 Hyatt in Hawaii Amex offers? I assume I would need to charge at least $1,000?
Thanks for the tip on this one. I have a stay booked at one of these properties and P1, P2 and P3 all received this offer on Platinum.
I have a stay booked soon. I paid half the rate at booking per Hyatt promo. It says you have to book at destinationhotels.com which leads to hyatt website when booking. Is it possible to use the card for $300 on the rest of my balance even if I booked it before I enrolled in the promotion? Thanks in advance!
I a currently at an unbound hotel. Check in 10/31 checkout 11/2. Do you think this credit would apply?
