Best Western: 8,000 Bonus Points for a 2 night stay (up to 2x)

Best Western just ended its last promotion yesterday, but a new day brings the dawn of a new promo. Until May 7th, 2023, Best Western Rewards members can earn 8,000 bonus points with a two night stay. This offer can be used twice for a maximum of 16,000 bonus points and is valid only in the US, Canada and the Caribbean.

Key Terms

• Best Western Rewards^® (“BWR^®”) members (“Rewards Member(s)”) who (a) register for this promotion on bestwestern.com/rewardsrush1 or as otherwise permitted (e.g., at the front desk of any Best Western^® branded hotel), (b) complete an eligible stay* for at least two (2) nights (either separate or consecutive nights) between February 6, 2023 and May 7, 2023 (“Promotion Period”) at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands, will earn 8,000 BWR bonus points (“Bonus Points”).
• A Rewards Member can earn 8,000 BWR Bonus Points a maximum of two (2) times during the Promotion Period. The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 16,000 BWR Bonus Points per Rewards Member.
• Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first eligible stay. Eligible stays completed prior to promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements. BWR enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com.
• Please allow 7 to10 business days after the eligible stay for the BWR Bonus Points to be posted.
• An “eligible stay” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western branded hotel, at a rate eligible for earning BWR points, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, a stay booked through a tour operator, or a stay booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on eligibility criteria). Eligible stays that take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before May 7, 2023, to be counted towards the promotion.

Quick Thoughts

Like many of Best Western’s promotions, I doubt that this will get anyone to change their plans. Our most recent Reasonable Redemption Values pegs Best Western Rewards points at .54 cents each, meaning that the bonus return on each two-night stay is ~$45…a nice bonus if you’re already going to be at a BW property within the next couple of months.

Best Western doesn’t have an award chart, but prices start at 5,000 pts/night, so theoretically you could get up to three nights by maxing this out to 16,000 points. That said, I doubt if most folks reading would want to spend three nights in any of BW’s cheapest properties unless you’re filming a murder mystery.
