For several weeks, we’ve been sharing a terrific referral offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards card on our Best Offers page that provides 75K miles and a $250 travel credit after $4K in spend.
However, there’s another, even better offer for an eye-popping 100K Capital One Miles after only $5K in spend. This matches the best offer on the Venture Rewards card that I’ve ever seen and is an incredible haul on a $95 card.
The only catch? It doesn’t appear on every Venture referral link and even those that do show it don’t all the time.

FM Mini Review: This card earns 2 "miles" per dollar, which are worth exactly 1 cent each toward travel. This makes the return on spend similar to a 2% cash back card (though in this case you must redeem your miles to offset travel in order to get 1 cent per mile). One big advantage over cash back: Capital One allows transfering their "miles" to airline miles & hotel points. This card has no foreign currency conversion fees. Noteworthy perks: Receive up to $120 application fee credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck® ✦ Redeem miles for travel at value of 1 cent per mile ✦ Convert "miles" to airline miles & hotel points ✦ No foreign transaction fees |
Quick Thoughts
We’ve first saw this offer shared in our Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group and were even set-up a referral thread for folks to share their links so that we could put it on the Best Offers page (one actually was there for a brief time this morning).
However, once we started playing around with it, we realized that the 100K link we had didn’t display 100K every time we clicked on it. In some browsers, it would show a 75K offer (which is inferior to the referral links we’re sharing now) and in other browsers it would display 100K. Sometimes, we even saw different offers in the same browser by clicking on the link repeatedly.
Amex has been doing this sort of thing for quite a while now, and many folks have found that they can access a variety of micro-targeted offers depending on browser, geographical location, incognito mode, etc. Now, it looks like Capital One is getting into the same game.
Unfortunately, because we can’t count on any of these links to actually display the 100K offer we’d like to share, we can’t put it on the Best Offers page. However, it’s worth trying to open the referral link that we do have in multiple browsers (and incognito modes) to see if you can get the 100K genie out of the bottle (or go to the referral thread and try some of the links listed there).

Can the referral link be posted here?
Can the referral link be posted here?
I was able to open a link from the facebook group and see the 100k offer, but there is no “apply now” link available, I have to use their preapproval tool which of course shows me a worse card with no offer and clicking back to all cards only shows the 75k offer. Anyone have a way around this?
Same issue here.
Same issue for me.
Is this 100,000 but no $250 in addition? Thats what it seems
Yes, that’s correct.
I am an authorized user on Venture X and never got any cap1 card, if i see preapproval it always shows the free cards , none of the venture cards shows up. what should i do?
Im not using your dumb facebook group
What got your panties in a bunch?
Calm down mate! Visiting a website to learn some valuable info and then ending up posting a rude comment like that is wild.
Can we refer P2 to regular venture if we have venture X?
Unfortunately, no…that would be nice.
Hm, I did some reading on Reddit and several people said it was possible. You go through the referral, and once you get through pre-approval there’s going to be multiple cards you can apply to. Pre-approval tool denied me, so I was not able to confirm this myself.
Is there any benefit to the referrer? For example, for referring P2?
Yes, the referrer gets 25K miles – provided that they haven’t hit their yearly maximum, which varies a bit from cardholder to cardholder.
Does the referer know whether the offer is for 75K or 100K?
No, because the offer changes depending on how/when it’s opened. I suppose that you could try to produce the offer from your link and then enter the details if you get it (in a household situation), but that’s the only way (that I know of).
The venture x gives 25k the venture is only 20k
