Quick Thoughts
This card doesn’t look all that compelling to me unless you really need / value United club access. With the huge cuts to flight schedules and most companies banning corporate travel at the moment, I can’t see this card being a hot item at the moment unless you’re still planning to be spending a lot of money on United travel this year. While the welcome bonus is indeed large, so is the annual fee. I’d sooner consider the new business card if I were in the market for United miles.

Is it subject to 5/24? And, if you are an authorized user on someone else’s card, does that count as heaving a United Club card?
1) To my knowledge, all Chase cards are subject to 5/24 these days.
2) No, being an AU does not count as having had the card. I believe that’s a universal truth with all issuers. Being an authorized user will not preclude you from getting your own card as a primary account holder.
Thanks, Nick.
If United is seeking help from the US government, does this mean your United miles become worthless?
Highly doubtful. If they’re seeking help, I’d supposed it is precisely so they don’t become worthless.
I wouldn’t be immediately concerned.
Thank you Nick for the quick response.
