Earlier this month, Chase added new Instacart benefits to a number of credit cards. While the credits are just $10 or $20 per month depending on which card you have, they can be used even when you’re using an Instacart balance to pay (so long as the backup card is a qualifying card).
Complimentary Instacart+ and monthly credits for United cardholders
You must first register your eligible cards at the link above. Note that when enrolling a business card, Instacart tries to get you to sign up for a business account with them. If you simply say “No” to that, the card and credits get added to your personal profile.
Most of the currently-available Chase United credit cards offer Instacart+ and a monthly credit, though the amounts vary. Keep in mind that you must register your eligible United cards at the link above and then you must select the card as the payment method or backup payment method for your order to use its associated credit.
Chase United Explorer & United Business cards
- Complimentary Instacart+ for 3 months
- $10 Instacart credit each month when you maintain Instacart+
- 25% off an annual Instacart+ membership renewal with your eligible card
Chase United Quest card
- Complimentary Instacart+ for 3 months
- $10 Instacart credit on your first order each month and $5 Instacart credit on your second order each month when you maintain Instacart+
- 50% off an annual Instacart+ membership renewal with your eligible card
Chase United Club and United Business Club cards
- Complimentary Instacart+
- Two $10 Instacart credits each month when using your card
Complimentary Instacart+ for 3 months and $10 monthly Instacart credit for other co-branded cardholders
You must first register your eligible cards at the link above. Note that when enrolling a business card, Instacart tries to get you to sign up for a business account with them. If you simply say “No” to that, the card and credits get added to your personal profile.
The following credit cards now offer complimentary Instacart+ for 3 months (must activate by 12/31/27) and a $10 monthly Instacart credit. Links below are to more information about each card, the link above is to register for this promotion.
- Aer Lingus Visa Signature
- British Airways Visa Signature
- Iberia Plus Visa Signature
- Aeroplan Card
- IHG Traveler Card
- IHG Premier Card
- IHG Premier Business Card
- Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card
- Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card
- Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Business Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards Performance Business Credit Card
- World of Hyatt Credit Card
- World of Hyatt Business Credit Card
While the card is not listed above or on the landing page for the promotion, several readers in the comments have noted that the Chase Ritz-Carlton Visa Infinite cards are also getting this promotion.
Note that you need to set the qualifying card as the payment method or backup payment method in order to use the benefit. According to Doctor of Credit, the monthly credit does work in conjunction with using an existing Instacart balance, but I don’t think there is any way to combine credits from multiple of the above cards.
Complimentary Instacart+ and $20 monthly Instacart credit
Register your cards for this promotion here.
You must first register your eligible cards at the link above. Note that when enrolling a business card, Instacart tries to get you to sign up for a business account with them. If you simply say “No” to that, the card and credits get added to your personal profile.
The following credit cards now offer complimentary Instacart+ for 3 months (must enroll by 12/31/27) and a $20 monthly Instacart credit:
Getting a $20 monthly credit on a couple of credit cards with no annual fee certainly seems like a great deal for anyone who can make use of the benefit.
Stack for years of complimentary Instacart+
If you have many qualifying cards, note that you could end up with Instacart+ into 2027. That’s because by registering the cards at the promotional links below, each successive eligible card you register will add 3 more months of complimentary Instacart+ to your membership. In other words, my wife could register her Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority card, World of Hyatt card, Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Business Card, and at least one Chase Ink Cash and Ink Business Unlimited card to end up with at least 15 months of Instacart+. If her Ritz card also work, that will be at least 18 months. Some folks will have even more eligible cards.
Keep in mind that only one of each card type is allowed. For example, if you happen to have two Marriott Boundless cards, you’d only receive three months free rather than six months. However, if you want to use the credit on a duplicate card, you could probably create a new Instacart account for that second card, though keep in mind that the credits rely on maintaining an Instacart_ membership.
Bottom line
The usefulness of these credits obviously depends on whether you use Instacart. If you are able to buy from some stores without a markup or use discounts to effectively reduce the markup (or you just like the convenience of delivery), getting this new benefit on a bunch of cards that you might have in your wallet is surely a nice enhancement. Keep in mind that the complimentary Instacart+ membership is only good for 3 months, after which you’ll be charged.

I’m seeing a lot of conflicting data point whether you can have multiple of the same cards (i.e., ink cash 1 and ink cash 2) in the same account and get $20 credit each on separate orders… If I have 2 ink cash, should I be putting them on separate accounts or can I keep them on the same profile?
I get phenomenal value from this, so I hope it continues. 90% of my orders are pickup orders to avoid fees and tips (only Aldi and Fresh Tyme allow it near me). The credits are stackable with Instacart promos, so I use them when I can.
I will get $1,000+ this year! Most of the cards don’t even have annual fees!!!!
The stores near me that are available for pick up (including Aldi) charge a $3.99 pick up fee. Still worth it for me as we’re still saving a good bit on stuff we need anyway, but my local stores don’t offer pickup without a fee.
Fair point, I should have mentioned that there’s a $35 min order amount to waive the $3.99 fee for me. The prices are pretty much the same as in store for me and I shop at Aldi anyways.
That’s how I use my $10 credits for $10 worth of goods and no extra fees.
I also load discounted IC giftcards into my account. Then the card with the credit can be listed as the primary method of payment to trigger the $10 or $20 off and the remainder is charged to the GC balance instead of my CC. Do the same thing with DoorDash.
Anyone else start having issues in July with saying credit was used or not showing up? Chatted with them and they said P2’s account is a related account and credit used there. Only thing linking is same address, but why shouldn’t different people in same house be able to use credit with different emails, phone numbers, and names?
Any update on this?
UPDATE: Added cards and then went back to register on each card using links and I now have a years worth of membership. Hope this helps someone.
it would help if u provided more details. which card and how many? just the 4 u mentioned earlier?
Registered 4 cards and only recieved 1 email saying my account was good thru Sept 11. Registered Disney,Hyatt, IHG, and Chase Ink Cash from these links. are these links dead?
used credit last month on my Ink UL and Ink Cash no problem. This month no credit found. anyone else?
yes. plenty. read other blogs, reddit and FT comments and join the convo. this thread seems dead and just lurkers. not sure why. maybe pple fed up w/ IC. i am too.

This is a pain and nobody at Chase or Instacart has any idea what’s going on. I registered four cards and only two of them are working. I spent way too much time on this.
FYI.
i have issues w/ stacking credits per family of chase card IC+ offers. eg al UA cards. all other co-brands. all inks.
eg i can only redeem promos for 1 card in each family. additional credits do NOT show up even tho it should be credits PER CARD.
i have multiple cards in each family of IC+ offers. but i have only redeemed a total of 3 offers. 1 per family group. no other credits show up.
furthermore, i am not allowed to register more cards for IC+ extension. maxed at 6 cards. 2 per family.
i get the error:
This card type has already been used to redeem this offer. Please try a different Chase card.
anyone else?
I’m not having that issue, luckily.
According to this article https://travel-on-points.com/chase-instacart-benefits/,
you can stack the co-branded cards, as long as it’s not the same exact card. There’s also on data point on FMI facebook group.
I have 6 cards in my Instacart consumer account and all credits show up, and my Instacart+ ends on November 2026:
-Ink Unlimited
-Ink Cash
-Southwest
-Aeroplan
-Ritz Carlton
-United Explorer
Can I add P2 cards to my account or does that need to be a separate Instacart account? I tried to add and it says “Something went wrong”. But that happened for one of mine too
I tried putting P2 under mine and kept getting Something went wrong. Then I tried separate account for P2, but still Something went wrong for all cards. Also, on mine I get two $20 credits for 2 ink biz. However, two IHG cards seem to only get one $10 credit despite extending Insta+ for 3 months each.
hey @Nick Reyes. love your stuff. amazing work my man.
wanted to give you FYI that a few things should be added to this post:
1) add some background related to past IC+ promo w/ CSR cuz its no longer included in this round.
2) pretty sure all chase marriott cards are included. eg ritz.
3) the UA cards are very different:
A) http://www.instacart.com/company/updates/flying-high-instacart-teams-up-with-chase-united-to-bring-exclusive-benefits-to-the-united-mileageplus-credit-cards
B) http://www.instacart.com/p/chase-united
C) http://www.instacart.com/help/section/639415266/2899125234
4) IC+ also includes:
Subscription to PeacockSubscription to New York Times Cooking
Only annual Instacart+ members can redeem a coupon for a one-year complimentary subscription to New York Times Cooking available upon activation of the offer valid through 05/30/25 at 11:59PM PT.
5) there seems to be issues redeeming multiple credits from multiple cards per month. the cards do register via the special links in the post and sub expiration is extended but credits are not showing up to redeem after the 1st one is used on the account. we need more DPs.
FYI, if you have the old Marriott premier plus business card. It will add 3 months to your IC+ membership. But it does not have any monthly credits. Just added mine and my IC+ got pushed out 3 months. I believe some folks on the FM team have that card. Cant remember who. Be great if someone on FM can confirm. Hope this helps someone
added mine and my IC+ did not get pushed out 🙁

Look at the emails you get. They should show the 3 month extensions.
You need to register them from the registration page. I have 15 months total added to my IC+ membership. They stack.
Adding the cards do nothing.
I added two business cards. Business, cash, and business unlimited. On the app only one shows up as $20. Am I supposed to be getting 2?
yes, you just need to change the payment method, you will see the $20 credit. I have the same as you. Well done. I used $20 on biz card 1 on an order. placed a 2nd order using biz card 2. $20 showed up again. hope this helps
I have both of those cards and only one is working
so i registered all my cards, got extended 3 months for each type of card only. and the credit is once per type of card. . need to see if i have to open another instacart account or can use each of the credit in separate orders on the same instacart account.
FYI, The Ritz Carlton card is also eligible for this offer.
