The normal offer for the Citi Prestige card pays 30,000 ThankYou points after spending $2,000 in the first three months. Some people are reporting that they have been targeted for a higher 50,000 point offer after $3,000 in spending during the first three months.
Citi allows people to check if they are targeted through their prequalification tool. To see if you are eligible for the offer, head over to the tool and enter your information. No credit check is performed.
This card does come with a hefty $450 annual fee which is not waived the first year, however it also comes with $250 in airfare credit per year, American Airlines lounge access and a number of other benefits. You can learn more about the card benefits on the Citi website and find a full analysis of this offer over at Doctor of Credit.

Shawn I am not sure if you are aware but it appears the 50k offer is now publicly available. I was able to see the 50k offer using this link (http://therewardboss.com/2015/04/09/get-1350-aa-credit-from-citi-prestige-50000-sign-up-bonus/) but I did not appy yet in case there was an even higher signup bonus available.

[…] Frequent Miler writes that some folks can now get 50,000 Citi ThankYou points when they sign-up for the Citi Prestige when they spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months. The usual bonus for this card is 30,000 points, so this is a great deal! […]
My fiance is prequalified for the 50K offer but I am not. Does anyone know if I click the “Apply Now” link from her prequalified results and change the name (address would stay the same) on the application if the bonus would still be valid? Nothing on the application page itself spells out the sign up bonus info so I can’t tell.
Good question. I don’t know
In case you, or anyone else, is interested you can not use someone elses prequalified offer link. I applied last night using my fiance’s offer link. Got a call from a girl at Citi today stating that the name on the application (mine) differs from the name of the person it was offered to (my fiance) and therefore can’t be processed. Fortunately she said that a hard pull was not performed so I didn’t waste one on this.
Guess I’ll have to try calling Citi branches and see if they’ll fax/email me the branch application. Other’s have reported success doing this. I don’t have any branches within 200 miles of me.
The offer popped up when I entered my information. Thanks for the heads up!
Can I get the Prestige if I already have the Premier?
Yes
When I check my pre-qualified offers, I get the Citi TY Premier with 50,000 bonus TYPs after spending $3,000/3 months. $125 annual fee waived the first year. No Citi TY Prestige card shows up.
Is the full 50,000 up front or is it the 20,000/30,000 split like the normal public offer?
I’m getting the same. Here’s the offer:
Earn 50,000 points after $3,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening…….Annual Fee $125 (Fee waived for the first 12 months)
